Instrumentation was deployed for measuring Maximum Wind Speed 10 Minutes from 07 Jun 2010 through to 02 Feb 2011, and the installation was located at/on Orpheus Island Relay Pole 3 Latitude:-18.575066 - Longitude:146.496101. Sensor deployed was a Vaisala WXT510/WXT520 Weather Transmitter manufactured by Vaisala, model WXT510. The following comment was recorded regarding this deployment - 'added by auto deploy'. Instrumentation was deployed for measuring Maximum Wind Speed 10 Minutes from 27 Oct 2011 through to 11 Sep 2017, and the installation was located at/on Orpheus Island Relay Pole 3 Latitude:-18.575066 - Longitude:146.496101. Sensor deployed was a Vaisala WXT520 Weather Transmitter manufactured by Vaisala, model WXT520. Notes

The project looks to deploy sensor networks at seven sites along the Great Barrier Reef to measure a range of physical parameters at a range of scales. The project will install communications, data and platform infrastructure that will support future sensor work looking at biological and chemical parameters.
